Things hotting up after some rather entertaining QFs… looks like Dan will be hard to shift if England are crowned champions, Manfred could also come bouncing back with a Dutch win, especially if the defeat France in the final. Where France finish will have a big impact with many bonus points up for grabs for correct prediction as winners or runners-up, or maybe they will fall to Spain and then things will really be wide-open! The suspense is boiling over as we reach the business end… enough points available for anyone to still claim the glory… it’s wide open! |

Well well well… Some mighty impressive predictions stacking up over that last 16 round. Top heavy draw reduces the probability of predicting all 4 semi-finalists + both finalists down to 1,000,000 to 1. Many of us gonna feel the pain as our favourites start to meet head-to-head far too early. Either QF Portugal v France or Germany v Spain QFs would have made good finals? Will Ronaldo score, or will it all end in tears? Will England finally click using their secret weapons from the bench? What last minute miracles still lie in wait? Anyone’s guess! Starting to come to the boil… All to play for… |

Two games down and some teams looking rather impressive… England not one of them. By my calculations England qualified unless Scotland can win big … not gonna happen. But I’m struggling to see any team that won’t give England a run for their money in last 16. At least they might get back to vote in the General Election… which is looking a bit more predictable. All to play for! |

So we’ve seen all the teams now… ages before we saw a Wolves player, then two at once, just like waiting for a bus!… Are Germany really that good, or Scotland really that bad, or both? Will we regret not picking Spain, now they have a wonder kid, and seem to have worked out how to score? Can Italy, Portugal and England keep grinding out results? Has Ronaldo run out of steam, while Mbappe fallen victim to the power of my jinxing wand? Competition starting to gentle simmer… all to play for! |
